Electrical permits are issued by Planning & Development Services under the 2023 NEC. Commercial wiring cost includes all labor and material, with owner-supplied equipment counted at market value.

The cost to the owner of all labor, material and other costs to install the wiring system, including light fixtures and factory-installed motor control equipment. Owner-supplied equipment is included, and used material values at 50% of new retail or actual cost, whichever is greater.
